Hey guys,

I just installed a Hitech 5765MH into my XSC and I don't feel like it has the same turning that the stock one had. What i mean is is that it doesn't turn the wheels as far when on the ground so it had to make WIDE circles.

I set my endpoints, turned up the expo and I am using the killerRcs 2s battery. When the tires are in the air they turn just fine plenty of snap but when its on the ground it can barely move them. I figured this wouldnt be the case since everyone else says they don't have issues with this servo.

I am using Proline Trencher tires, not sure if it matters. I just want to get the same turning that the stock one had because I liked it, I really don't want to have the find a different servo, any thoughts? 2uaKdIkyj-dCV_jVJerdr2Fb7imbNg7BD9Ipfzls0B0=w332-h187-p-no.webp

How tight should it be? I loosened it a little because I thought that was what was killing my steering servos, is there a way I should gauge it or something?

Tighten it until you can turn properly. It's just there to absorb the shock from impacts. You want it stiff enough to turn, but still be able to flex under a decent amount of force. You'll probably have to set your EPA, again. I set mine so the servo stops just before it puts a load on the servo saver.
