So i just bought a new servo, but its 8th scale not 5th scale

I know there is an adapter http://www.davesmotors.com/Darksoul-MeatyMount-Servo-Mount-Adapter-DSR0066.html however although that adapter does extend the servo to reach the plastic mount, the holes on the other side are spaced much further out on the plastic compared to the servo

Drilling into the plastic to make new holes would not be a big deal but the holes on the plastic are actually standoffs as well so it would be lower if i drilled into it

Is there something else i am missing
