Steering Servo reciever transmitter issue

I lost control to my steering servo, I tried to rebind no luck, I switched the trhrottle for the steering and I get the Steering servo to work but nothing out of the wheel, I am wondering if anyone had issues like this and if it is my transmitter? any help before I buy new remote and reciever

So when you switch the throttle & steering the steering works but not the throttle?

If so that is the receiver. You can just buy the receiver. The flysky receivers work. Flysky manufacture the receiver and transmitters for Redcat.
 
I opened up my controller and swithched the channels and when I placed the wheel wires on the trigger wires the wheel worked, so that answered my question. Now I will look at the forums and find a good replacement
 
I like that one, went to a hobby store here in Dallas and the had some ranging from 60 to 200 bucks, I like the price on that one, thanks for the link
 
wonder if it will work with the stock redcat reciever that came with it or do I need to replace that aswell, I also will need to replace my steering servo, it works but with some noise, i took it apart aswell but am sure it will fail

Got the new Radio and got one tank of gas out of the Steering servo and then my rebuild strip out and plastic parts Blew up inside the servo Time to Piss the wifey off and order the servo, know i saw a post on the Right servo to get so going to look for that one unless someone beats me to it
