I have an Exceed Hannibal, 1/5 scale gas truck. I know, bad reveiws. So far, everything I have replaced has been redcat parts. I have tortured this truck and it has held up great (surprisingly enough). My steering servos died (or I killed them taking them apart). It takes the Redcat steering servo 52019mg, with rounded ends. No one seems to have more than 1 in stock, and I would prefer to upgrade it to a better servo. Does anyone know what will interchange, without a lot of hacking on the mounting plate? I read a review on the redcat site that said they upgraded to an HPI servo, but gave no number. If anyone knows for sure what will fit, I would appreciate it, as I am going into DT's from not bashing it. It's been down for a couple weeks now!
Thanks

all you have to do to mount the 5755's is drill 2 holes ...takes 5mins...the hsp servos are made by gws and are poo...buy 2 more and they will die...i guarantee it
and if you are still running the original th servo and don't have a kill switch then sooner or later you will be watching your rig take off on it's own wot, and if there is just one pole or tree in the middle of a big field the odds are it'll hit it..lol...

Cool boat Outtaluck. I have an Enforcer, Man-o-war. I will try the Hitec servos. The originals have the rounded end, so Ill have to do some cutting on the mount. Does the Hitec 5755 have the steel horn gear? My truck uses 2 steering servos. I have already changed out the throttle servo with a Futaba. For all the bad reveiws, I have beat this truck mercilessly and have had few problems, other than crashing it and breaking stuff. Once was the only pole in the middle of a field, tore the left front wheel right off! Lola.
Thanks for the info, and Happy New Year all!

The Hitec 5755mg has been discontinued. It is replaced by the 5765mg servo, so I ordered two of them. Hope they work. Came with new aluminum horns from DDM.

The 5765 work great. Had to do a little filing on the corners of the rounded ends to get them in. Back up and bashing again!!! Thanks for the info guys.
