hey guys had a question on steering servos I was going to get high tech 5765 they say they are high voltage servos will I need to upgrade battery I am currently running DDM 5000 mAh and my throttle brake servo is high tech HS 645 mg so if you could let me know what I have to do and are they a direct fit.

hitec 5765 is a HV servo and solid choice and as close to drop in its gonna be.

and a good match battery at 7.4v is the one (if you switch to HV battery)

a bargain and serious juice ..you will need a lipo charger ! no way around it

the 645 is NOT rated as hi voltage , HV will shorten its life if not fry it out of the gate.

the 5000mah i assume is at 6v and is fine to pull even HV servos, they just aren't as snappy ...so if you go to HV lipo you need HV servos and a charger, but a 6v can work on either

i think most work up around 9.4 volts over that if higher ,like in elecetric stuff, the bec/esc drops voltage , not sure might check need to check that out.
