tried installing stering servo stops on my marder but there to to close to the servo saver and wont allow the tires to turn (servo saver gets hung up on the oposing side stop ). Is there somthing iam missing here:o. i was going to just drill 2x new holes in the chassie (about 7-10 mm furthere out )to put them in the proper spots . just checkin here first before i start up the drill lol

Why are you adding steering stops mate? If the servo is turning further than you would like just trim it back on the endpoint adjust on your handset. Adding stops will mean the servo is forcing against immoveable object & could shorten its life

the arm on the servo saver hits the stop not the part on teh servo saver that is that is suposed to hit it . so example when turning left the the aluminum servo saver octigon piece should hit the left servo stoper , but its 1 cm away and wheel are only very slightly turned "very slightly". wear its making contact is on the arm piece on say the right hand side "when turning left". the part of the servo saver wear the threaded rod's comming from the servo horn attaches to the aluminum servo saver.. does this make sence ? i can take i pic tonight

I don't know why but I had a feeling it would be this. What you have there isn't a steering stop - thats a servo saver spring tentioner, it's a bit of hexagonal bar with a hole drilled through it that allows you to put various degrees of tention on the spring, you'll probably find a grub screw somewhere to lock it in place. The steering stops go on the steering arm. Try taking them off and see how things work without them.

hmm not sure what u mean ? the 2 alloy pieces screwed to the chassie are not servo stops? the hexagonal pieces are connected to the servo saver . when i unscrew the 2x posts from the chassie it all works great, but iam relying only on the servo trim to prevent over ster. my concern is if i hit an object hard, i want to have somthing in place they will prevent a wrenched gears on the servo . i just recently accuired theses posts and figured ied installem , but as you can see in the vid the wrong part of the servo saver is hitting (hexagonal part should hit it only) not he plastic arm on the opposing side), just slightly. with a bit of force and now bent stops the plastic arm just clears the servo stops?

Sorry bud, I've just had another look on full screen, the 2 alloy posts screwed to the chassis are non original items. you should have a post on each hub/steering arm that will just touch the wishbones when you get to the streering limit.

can you take a photo of your hubs and steering arms?

ya i will take photo tonight iam at work now lol . one hub has the stering stop on the hub arm and one is missing:(, and i cant locate one , thus the reason for installing the 2 stops i have on the chassie.. ial take a pic tonight and post it up :) , Thanks for all the assistance thus far:D
