well jus got back, pure fun! :D

towards the end my front hub is a bit knackered, thread has gone so the screw keeps popping out, jus priced up some alloy ones all i can say is "WTF!?" £100 for alloy uprights... seriously, i know its largescale & its more expensive, but thats takin the p!ss :(

needless to say gunna jus buy some stock ones again, these have held up for 2 years so the alloy ones can stay on the shelf!

other than that, great day, got a little bit of vid & a few pics, post em up lata tnight :-)

Oh yeh my batterys are fine, still plenty of charge left in them to! so all they needed in the end was a few cycles to get em tip-top again :D

Tiz,take your axle out and remove the bearing, you SHOULD have a metal ring in the middle. This is for the top and bottom rose screw to screw into, they wont pull out of them unless the thread is stripped.Give me a shout if you want a set ,i have some here.
J.

hiya mate :)

yeh its stripped, i landed awkward on one of the jumps (wheels 1st) the screw ripped some of the casing & stripped it, it still screws in but comes loose if i give it some! ...but it was enuff to hold the wheel in place to save me carryin my MB back to car lol :(

Ive just ordered a new set of uprights, once funds allow will prob get some alloy ones, cheers again dude ;)

on a side note, my mate also dun his Hellfire in about 30secs after me on the same jump, think its his drive shaft as his hellfire is (or was 4wd!) lol.. only the front wheels are turning now :o

That have been some landing to strip the metal insert! are you sure it has a ring???
