I am running stock 26cc MT engine, first few tank no problem. Car start moving slowly during idle position. and very little gas coming out from the pipe.


My guess is the oil too rich, and I need to turn counter-clockwise on the L needle , is that correct :confused:


Do I need to touch H needle ?
 
If you want it lean, then clockwise, small increments. Small turn goes a long way. Adjust your LSN or low speed needle first. Turn clockwise. If you hear engine pitch rising then you're going too lean, if your turn counterclockwise and it starts to bog down then you're too rich, so go in the middle of those adjustments. when you get the right adjustment, run it and aim for performance by adjusting the high speed needle, again small turn at a time. Lean it then test run again. Leaning it will give you more speed but don't overdo it or your risking damaging the engine. better to be on the rich side, sacrificing a bit of speed but your engine will last longer. hope this helps.

sometimes a video tutorial is so much better. Check this guy out as he explains about tuning, pretty much same as I've explained, but went way beyond my explanation. He made it so simple that a even a newb would understand. Good luck and start RIPPING! :D

Is that right that I am running too rich, since it moves even no gas applied.
 
Heres a good on tuning these engines. Its using the Baja 5b but its still the same process.

Set your low speed needle all the way in and back it out 1 1/4 turns and with the high speed all the way in back it out 1 1/2 turns that should get you started and work in small turns 1/16 to 1/8 that's what I did with mine you'll get the hang of it the more you mess with it but that is a close to stock setting good luck
