Its been doing the rounds, not sure whether he is very clever or just a nob!! I would probably have said very clever until the bacon references were used.....

Not sure I can agree with that.
There must have been something that attracted their attention to start with - there's mention of a handbrake turn - not strictly speaking a legal manoeuvvre on a public road.
The Pork references are particularly offensive, but his statements appear very well informed despite that.

I think he's very lucky, IF he got away with it, and it shows the lenient nature of us British.
If somebody tried that in USA, he'd have been out, and tasered!!

Al.

It shows how marginal Police work is that people can sympathise with an arrogant tw&t like this guy!!

All of these smart arse remarks are going to come around and bite him so hard he won't even feel the pain, is my guess.

I am not employed by the Police, nor have I ever been, nor any members of my family. It's just a matter of common courtesy and respect.

Each time he's been approached, it's been as a result of a 'hand brake turn', 'abrupt departure and braking at a junction', etc., so he's obviously aggravating and antagonising these Police officers performing their duty.

Not a fan of such videos - not sorry!

I agree Al he does seem to be looking for it but he knows the law better than the coppers. How can they be let loose on the street not knowing the codes of law they are set out to enforce? Is does raise questions if nothing else.

It shows that additional training is required.
It does appear that they really don't know how to handle him.

Al.

That's because they are unsure of the law they are supposed to be upholding. Based on knowledge, he should be the copper!

If he was, some other smart arse would have a go at him for entrapment!!

He does appear to have a focused but twisted knowledge of the law.

Interesting - YES, I suppose.
Clever - NO.
As they say, 'Don't try this at home' !!

fair point but now imagine hes not filming them total different outcome I bet would involve being man handled out his car then face planted on the deck cuffed a few sneaky digs in the ribs dragged into the meat wagon and nicked

As if the police wont be marking his car and will jump on him whenever he steps out of line...I would!
J

lol my thoughts exactly, his plates gunna be well marked!

it seemed he was in a car park which may have been private in which case the police could not do a road side inspection. But i can bet as soon he got onto a pulbic road he was pulled & his car would have been inspected ^^

he's obviously has had some time on his hands to study the law, probably at her majesties pleasure.
there was a case in the states that went to the upper courts where a cop arrested someone for calling him an poophole, court threw it out as it's not a crime to call people names as long as it's not a racial or ethnic slur including the cops...however there they will get you and you'll end up in jail with bruises, cuts and abrasions... and dog bites if you've really pissed them off

I don't think he's smart but i do like that he has gotten the better of what is obvious, coppers who just don't like him and tried to get him into their space and for him to make a mistake that would then let them use force against him..
If it was any of us we would have gotten out of our cars and sat inside theirs and handed over every id we had, i now know i don't have too and will use this if i think i am being misled and given the wrong info...

The Old Bill came into the pub last night in force and locked it down for half hour while they let the sniffer dog do its thing, those that were picked out got searched and had their names taken, if i was searched and nothing found i would have now refused to give my name too them...by the way nothing found on anyone..

i wonder the legal standing on that, without any probable cause you can tell them to get stuffed..did the landlord give them permission to search? did they have a warrant?
i used to respect cops and realize they have a tough job to do but i have, many years ago been on the receiving end of a total embellishment of the actual facts, or in other words total lies, so although i don't give them any attitude, they have guns here, i certainly do not trust them anymore. most cops were either bullied as a kid and now it's payback time, or they were the bullies and still are...
hard to respect a service that puts more emphasis on catching super criminals, "motorists" going 5 over rather or not coming to a full stop, than actually being a presence to stop real crime...get burgled and all you get is a file number, an actual cop coming to your door would cost them a few missed traffic tickets...but, go a bit fast and don't stop you'll have half the force chasing you
