Stuck piston

So was running my mt today has about 4 tanks thru er and the piston stuck was able to pull the plug and push it down put a few shots of oil in and turned it over a few times reinstalled plug now she runs fine any ideas

Sounds like a lubrication problem.Maybe your not leting the engine warm up befor hamering it.Maybe a cracked ring.

same problem my piston got odd shape so replaced it and it was fine

Pull the exhaust off and look at the piston. If you see any scuffing on the side of the piston, it was running too lean.

What oil/fuel ratio are you running?

What are your needle settings?
