Thanks buzz and sean. Yes I will both start a thread and do some vids when the weather get's better. It will be cool to see where that trade off begins and if it's worth it or not. Gonna work my way up from stock to ported logging everything along the way and if the results are interesting and there is interest I'll expand and do engine maker vs engine maker.

I suppose what I'll do is test the exhaust temp while she's still blowing blue smoke and get a reading and try to stay in that zone. Does that make sense @Seandonato73 and @buzzkill ?
To be clear those temps are at WOT wide open throttle !! using a small size thermocouple ( not metal wrapped ) that has a fast response. If you want once I get his data logger working right I;ll send you one to test with . It saves the data to a SD card so you can chart it and has a display for real time.

That would be awfully nice of you. This project lends itself to the dyno work your doing. I agree with Sean in that I don't want to push things to their edge. This is for your average shopper/basher who might find value in understanding/seeing what different performance upgrades will give.

Talk about pushing the limits! This video almost seems to be FFwding, scroll to 7:46min. I think some of these guys got every last bit of useable power outta these rigs!

I have been wanting an on-board GPS like the Dynamite or Sky RC but could not figure out the best and safest way to attach it to my Baja. Would anyone who has one mind posting pictures of how you mounted yours?
