Does anyone have any recommendations on how to route the gray cable that goes from the engine stop to the battery box. I was thinking of notching the plastic cover next to the button then going in the side of the battery compartment. Any other suggestions please let me know.

I always drill a hole in the side of the battery box at the bottom. You can seal it with shoe goo if you feel it's necessary.

I route the cable down through the shroud to the bottom.

Here is an example. (red wire is just for demonstration)

yea, that ferrite choke- the plastic thinge-is in the same location on my rigs.- i have a tube in a gun left over from the bathroom overhaul- ge silicone 2 . i put this on a screwdriver and glue this plastic choke housing to the block of the engine- ferrite is brittle- it can break fron usage- the case would hide the damage- yea, i use a choke on the beam antennas- c-b -ham it electrically disconnects - acts as a one way valve- lets the signal from the radio go out tru the antenna- but prevents reflected waves- swr- from coming back to the amp and radio transmitter- these chokes are used everywhere- the wire that connects the camera to the computer- the computers screens hook up wires- the little box that seperates the telephone from the internet - same thing- just diffrent ferrite materal- depends on the frequency it needs to seperate-filter out-- just rambling agan-- lol.
