Hi, I have a 5t and I bought the super bee remote kill switch for it but it seems I got the wrong one. It doesn't come with an actual switch, but rather a bullet plug lead wire and another wire lead. Is there anyway I can just solder those onto the original switch? Maybe somewhere on each wire in between the ignition coil and the switch? If not then I'll have to contact ddm to get the right one. Thanks in advance!

did you buy new or used?
killer bee's don't have a on/off switch if thats what your looking for?or the engines kill switch button?
the switch has a plug that goes into the aux line of a 3 channel radio,it should come with the grey cover wire that goes to your engines stock kill switch and coil, and the other end goes into the super bee, from there another wire leads to the radio reciever plug, now besides having a buzzer and light indicator, thats pretty straight foward

thanks, ive got it installed now and I cant get it to start up. when I turn on tx & rx, it makes a couple beeps, the try to start it and it wont start and then continues to beep. is there something on the unit thst needs to be switched or something?

if its beeping its working, check your servo settings, the aux or the channel the kill switch might be reversed which is turning on the kill switch,

What TX do you have, sound s like the Superbee is on as it should only buzz if its activated and thats why it won't start...

Send KillerRC a PM and let him know which Controller your using and i'm sure he'll point you in the right direction to set up...

You must have bought the Super Bee boat kit. It works the same way as the car kit but it has different connectors. You can just cut off the connectors and solder it into the two existing wires on your stock red push button switch.

Did you read the included instruction sheet? It tells you what each LED color means.

You need a solid green light on the Super Bee before you can start the engine. If the buzzer is constantly buzzing the same tone then you won't be able to start the engine. That buzzer is telling you to flip the switch on your transmitter. You probably just need to turn on your 3rd channel switch on your radio. What radio do you have?
