I have the stock transmitter that came with the MT so it doesn't have a third channel..so are you saying all you have to do is plug the superbee into the aux port on the radio receiver and it'll shut down the engine when you turn off the transmitter?

Yes that's how it works. There is a control wire that you run to your ign coil. Hooks up where the little red button (kill switch) does.

I always kind of understood that your radio transmitter had to have third channel capability in order for something to work that was plugged into the 3rd or aux channel on the radio receiver. Which meant that if your radio was only two channel then you had to use a Y-splitter so you could piggy back that signal in with your throttle or steering channel...is that wrong?

The reason i ask is that I just got a superbee but of course I forgot to get a y-splitter and if I don't need it then I won't have to wait until I have enough stuff to order to get a y-splitter. I would hate having to pay shipping on such a small item. :D

Thanks for the info guys, I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens. I still don't quite understand how this works with no third channel capability on my radio transmitter. I'm assuming that by setting dip 1 down and 2 up on the reciever it somehow passes the signal from a channel that is getting signal to a channel that is not.
