Swapping Metal to Belt Drive

I noticed that they make a belt drive for the XT series.. I was wondering if anyone has done so.. It also say different , but don't know if i have a 4 pin.


How would one come to find out.. Thanks..

All of the Rampage's use the same belt drive. So it'll fit. If I remember correctly, they didn't put the 4 pin setup on the X Series. They only put it on the MT and the DR.

Deluge is correct. Take the plastic cover off your gears and take a look. If you don't see 4 metal pins around the nut, then you have a 4 pin system. The belt drive is kick ass... get one, you wont regret it.

X-series are the square drive. You don't need to convert it.

What do you have to do to the mt for the new one

New gear plate, the clutch bell and shafts have to be traded out for the square setup, then install the belt system

Are all the MT's coming with the 4 pin setup? Or just the pro version?

Yep for sure. Have you tested out the belt drive yet.

Nope. Waiting for more gearing options. RCDAD said he had some in the works. So, we'll see. Plus I've got plenty of plastic gears to burn through before I make the change.
