I found a supplier of the large head t-27 bolts that are used on the f-270. Its large scale r-c. - I will be replacing all the old hex head bolts with these t-27-s. 1 wrench does the entire engine.

yea, there is enough bottom end-jug to bottom end t-27s on the way to assemble 4 engines. Large scale has the hpi bearing press tool -# z-970 bought one of these puppies for bout 7 bucks. its time to build engines! yea!! I do have a full mod gizmo 36mm top end- the modded 813 even on a stock cy29 will burn tire on the loose dirt for about 16 feet with this carb- lets see what it does on a jug thats had a little dental work---colder weather requires more fuel.

I found the f-270 t-27-s at large scale r-c.com. also called Innovative Hobby Products.- I ordered this -- # 15439 - Wide cap Hex Torx Screw - M5 X 30mm. Quanity -4 bolts- $ 4.14.-- # 15438 - same discription - quanity- M5 X 20mm - $4.97. Hpi bearing press tool, for the mains, Z970 - $6.62. Yea, i ordered a stuffer crank by mistake, I have read stories about the stuffing letting go- Only one way to know--- rev it to the max! lol.

Also, I said several posts ago about the stock f-270 not having quite enough power to spool up the 4wd. It just needed to be leaned out a little- This is with a stock 990, 3/4" velocity stack and the high volume fluid r-c end bleed I imported from Scotland a while back- This combo comes on the pipe sooner and revs as high or higher than the jet-pro rear mount. I do have 3 f-270 pull off top ends in a box, I should try to locate a porter and go for just a little bit more upper mid - and not loose the high rpm. just a thought.
