Yes that would def be an idea. Will your cooler be free air or fan forced? If using the fan you could hook that up to carry fan speed the same way. Never have an over cool condition or overheat condition.

try it without fan help first, If my CR500R big 2 smoker can keep its cool during July ,This little piss pot ought too also, I hope..LOL LOL
If I have heat problems there is a adjustable head for it and I can change out the domes and drop the squish so I can run VP methy. Way cooler motor temps , More power, super cheap per gal @ $2.57 last year at race track in sealed 5 gal cans
