Taylor gas caps

Any one running silver taylor gas caps.......Do you remove the vent/bulb from factory gas cap and put it into taylor aluminum cap. Have not done it on raminator caps but tried on rovan terminator without the vent/bulb and its just dumping gas out of it. Just put factory one on for now. I think I've been doing it wrong. Have a blue taylor cap on 5t 2.0 and it came with a vent /bulb installed. Please help this dumb old man out..Thank you everyone!!!!

Just watched east side rc video and he does remove vent ""plug"" and reuse the stock cap insides. He's not using taylor caps but it is a aluminum one . I drilled mine out and put one of the detroit rc vents in it and removed the vent plug .Seems I might have answered my own question.... Again any suggestions much appreciated!!!!!

I used the vent cap inside mine.
