TBII / punisher Throttle/Brake Servo

After finding the standard servo being a bit weak I purchased a Savox SC-1256
These are 20kg capable and good and quick for the use it will get but I found upon fitting it that the holes drilled and threaded were knowhere near in the correct locations!! :no:

I've had to file the holes into a rectangular shape in order for it to allow the servo to be fixed down correctly.

Shame that this has been overlooked as I've used these servo's before in other cars with no issues.

but after the labour session I've got it in and it stops on a pinhead now and the throttle response is awesome! :cool2:

Is this an issue others have found with your TBII / Punisher?

i recon the standard servo on the throttle and brake are as you say weak i agree as even though i have only run the buggy for around 15mins so far i e4xpected more from the brakes....plus i don't full trust rtr lectrics.....i might have to look into these savox servos i here there good

It was this one from this shop I got in the end.

I've also bought the Ansmann alloy double Servo horn which is the same size and the standard one to cope with the additional torque
This was also available from MB Models but is not listed on the site, perhaps you may need to contact them for that.

thats a good price too...........the spline pattern you say is ansmann is that the same as futaba or hitech

It's a 25 spline so I'm led to believe it's the Futaba fitting.
It's the same as the stock horn as it fits correctly
