It all depends on:

1. Tuning - running rich = cooler / running lean = hotter.
2. Ambient conditions - if it's cold, then it'll take longer to get up to temperature.
3. Ventilation - how's the air flow onto / over the engine?

these engines don't really get tuned by temp, i have noticed that most people tune by response and the sound of the engine.thats how i tune it also. could'nt tell you the last time i checked a temp.
but maybe there are few on here that have an ideal temp to look for
