I will admit the guy is great when he gets back to you and I have never been taken, so I do trust him and his parts have made a difference. I'm just like everyone else eager and impatient and my expectations are high and will rave about anyone who meets or exceeds my expectations.:)
 
Thanks teamchrome for the part #'s! I just ordered what I was told is the last beetle conv. kit at largescalerc.com. I'll let you know how it goes on. Hopefully it will just bolt on. I had to get one while they were still in my price range being that fg doesn't have the license to sell VW anymore.--nate
 
Well, I got it to fit and it looks awesome! I put 23mm adapters on the back with proline 40 series mashers, and 14mm adapters on the front with savage X tires and it looks like they were made to fit. I still can't figure out how to post pics, but I'll keep trying.--nate

team chrome where did you get that list from?
cause there are some diff parts on there that DO NOT FIT THE FIREHAMMER...... I pointed that out too some Fg dealer and they just laughed at me.and said who cares cause the gears are 90.00......... ALL the BEVEL gears DO NOT FIT the firehammer OR the Output cups/drive cups not matter what an FG dealer tells you.......they are not the same Fgs are 8mm and Firehammers are 6mm

He is local to me and if he doesn't get the parts any more who will??
Sounds like he is getting out of the hobby.
Some of these dealers in the states need to pick up were Mark left off.

I agree, we can't let those parts not be available to the US users. I really think Chop (or others with the skill) could make some money here and get them (motor mounts) to some dealers or do it themselves. :)
What they let go on and still are from what I hear in that post over at the "crap forum" to a vendor, that gives money to there site, was and is wrong no matter what! Funny how it started with bashing members to members and now has lifted to vendors. I and others I know received all our items from him when he said they would arrive and he kept in touch with me on the items as well.
It's too bad, I understand being frustrated with a company not responding I just think I would keep pounding the frustration at the company and not make it a bash session or feeding frenzy (If that is what happened).:(

Company was said to be started by a former Smartech sales manager it looks exactly like a carson / smartech. The build quality of the car is fantastic looks even better then smartech, servos are GWS 777.

Body and radio is where they fell short (for now), 27MHz AM Futaba knock off china radio and a non lexan white plastic painted / decal Ford GT
LOVE the Ford GT shape just wish it was lexan and more detail it is said to be a licensed body.

US importer is set, I was told there are PARTS O PLENTY so I am told, yeah we will see. Importer is in Alhambra California I am going to take a re-con visit to check out parts supply ;)

Mark was in it for the love of the Hobby, not for $$$$ of it.....He cannot help that it takes them Germans forever to ship him his products:no: :no: ...Mark has never steered me wrong, and has even sent me a couple things for my FH in a pinch when I needed them......I wish there were more SUPLIERS/DEALERS around like him instead of trying to make a quick buck on this hobby..
