Had a great snow bash last night! The local snow racer park was closed for the night, but they left the light on. Many jumps, tracks, build up curves and obstacles to jump and bash from.

But this was the first real bash with my newly painted body, and it got scars, deep scars! And I'm still looking at it and feeling a bit bummed it lost it's shelf queen look ;(

Anyone else feels this way after the perfect new body get the first damages?

Yes, KEITH !! Joking Keith ... :lol::lol::lol:

For me, a little, but provided the bodyshell's not split, it's fine, and particularly if the paint's OK. It's easy to reinforce from underneath.

KEEP IT OFF THE SHELF - That's my motto and the neighbours hate it !! :D:D:D:w00t::lol::w00t::D:D:D

Haha, Mostly it's OK. No splits og cracks. But it has some tape on the inside of the roof, holding the wires for the lights in place. It landed on the roof and in sted of the paint cracking, the tape took a piece of paint off that now sticks to the tape. If I didn't have the tape there, I think this would not have happend.

I know where you're coming from.
Can you re-align the tape to hide this? Stick it on with fresh.
I like to line the insides of the bodies with Duct tape to limit 'gravel rash'.

I'll try to line with adhesive aluminium oil to start, then cover 'high risk' areas with normal duct tape.

Bodies are so damned expensive at this scale, the extra effort to protect it is worth it.
