Well it was a beautiful day here in Miami so took the baja out to try and get some run time in. It started right up and ran great I got about 30 mins of runtime without having a screw come loose I think I finally have beaten the loose screw gremlin. Of course now that everything seems to be good the steering servo strips out:).. Fortunately with everything I have read this did not surprise me. So I used this as my excuse to upgrade the radio and both servo's. After much reading I decided to get the Airtronics MT-4 with a hitec 5805mg digital servo for the steering and a hitec 5645mg for the throttle with aluminum servo horns. I figure I can always get me a cheap little battery buggy and throw the flysky radio in it for goofin around the neighborhood.

I did lots of reading and was happy with what I found out about the radio. I am a Futaba person it is what I always used when flying planes starting in the 70's yes I no I am getting old. For the money the Sanwa was just that much of a better deal.

Just a quick update. The wonderfully efficient and caring USPS apparently lost my package between my local distribution center and my post office. It is amazing that in 24hr's they could get a package from new jersey to miami but in 72hr's they cannot get it 10 miles. I guess the Bermuda Triangle must have reached out and grabbed it. This sucks because I was off fri and today and wanted to go play not sit home with nothing to do. Plus the extra time just allows me to surf the web and find more things to spend money on this darn car.

Not trying to get you to spend even more money, but after installing the Turtle Racing HD shock tower, I flipped it end over end 3 times then switched to barrel rolling on the front wheels at about 25mph...something that ordinarily would have popped the shock tower for sure...did no damage and I kept running. (Also might have to attribute some of that to the RPM arms on it...they seem to be pretty awesome)

Hopefully I already have that covered it came with an all aluminum front end including shock towers. But good try:D
