Thanks. I like sharing ideas in the hobby. Even weird or off base ideas can spark an idea in someone elses mind that could end up being one of those standard mods everyone does. I can't take credit for the golf cart idea, heard rumors of them being used in the remote jungles of some far off country. But that's what has gotten us where we are today. Standing on the shoulder of those before us and building off thier ideas.


Okay got the video stuff squared away......


I broke the videos up becuase not very many people can watch a 10 minute video of someone running circles around the camera. So you people can pick and choose the ones you can stomach. If any for that matter.


Nothing special going on…. some hill climbing, speed runs buzzing the tower, and trying to drive with one hand and eye and trying to record with the other. I did put the camera on a tri-pod while I was climbing the hill and did some speed runs by it. Then did one more hill climb to show off for some cars that were coming down the road.


I smashed the front of the body up coming back down from the last climb. That part of the tape didn't come out. Over half of the stuff I recorded didn't turn out including some good snow runs. I got a DV Camcorder or eBay yesterday. It might help my driving also.

Good news is I have got a stronger engine on the way that I can mess with the gear some more. I have a different (maybe better camera on the way) and a possible volunteer to run it for me. Oh yeah, spring gets closer as each day passes.…..
 
It does seem pretty quick out of the hole. With the mix of weather we have had and the changing of tires so often. I am looking forward to trying it out with more consistent conditions. I am hoping the new camera person I have recruited that the videos of the hill climb can inlcude some closeup of it tearing up the dirt on the way. The echo is real cool. It makes a real cool sound when it is down under the bridge with the arch that you can see in the one video on the road level. Thanks for the comment fellows.
 
The funny thing about that pull cart and the future wife. I now understand her lack of excitement when I initially told her it would be used for more then just hauling golf clubs. She was thinking I was going to expect her to haul it along when we walked the dogs and the Rampage over to the bash spot on the otherside of the park. It wasn't until she mentioned that, that I thought "Hey, that's not a bad idea at all." Turns out it is a bad idea........ lol

:D I almost fell outmy chair laughing thats good stuff. Not laughing at you but with ya cuz I had went threw asimilair thing with my ex wife. I used to be in a rc club out west, Misss that so much, any ways every weekends is racing on sat. So me and my wife had a deal I get to "play" on sat for them 4-6 hrs and sun she gets me for church and shopping. I never understood how those 2 went together but w/e. So this sat was a family race day and this was great it was a full day,picnic,real mid west bbq so good...nvm nother subject.. swimming and was a blast . Around 125-150 ppl there incredible. So this weekend coming was the big one, I had friday off so I had about 10 trucks prepped and batterys charge and plenty of fuel. Had the grand kids to they love rc so the event is over and was fun. Its not a long walk to the truck but with 10 trucks and 2 pit boxes and 2 gallon fuel it is lol. I asked the wife If she could carry one or two the grand kids trucks, just rustlers and she told me that this was my day that i have to carry them, she will drive the hell out them but wont touch em. I was like Honey what aboutlast weekend when we spent 5 hrs at macys andanother 3 at penny;s and I hel your purse and bags the whole time... with out whining, shes like yes I have trained you well haven't I........And I carried all my stuff .....I telll ya


I am gonna hit the thrift shosfor one them carts but i need a 4x4 one. I have some nasty mtn roads and paths to some nice spots to play
 
That's a funny story and I saw the end before I read it. Found myself holding the purse just the other day too.

Im divorced now miss some that but hell you just roll with it right....


So Im off to town Ima bug the lhs for a cpl misc parts for my bl pede and 4x4 slash them Im out to go try a new spot today and run for a bit...Need a break from cleaning the rampage today, all done minus chassis, but its nice out 60-65 ish and sunny.....great day to run something..


Your truck seems awesome. First thing Im buying is a pipe...


Oh and a stand like ya got to hold the ramp so its easier to work ok I have a hospital bedside tray but it barely fits on it...

biggest upgrade or change since the previous post in here has been the CPI pipe. I was running the Meilke side mount while I waited on the CPI. It did well but the CPI is just a different pipe. Is a lot louder then the side mount was. It took me up until today to actually get the fuel setting right. It is running real well now. I tried previously to change the 25 and 35t gear but it was a dog on take off. I just got the 2 MCD 30t gears in the mail today. I plan on putting them on tomorrow and seeing how it performs. Now that I got the engine tuned better. I also have some lighter tires to run on it. Picked up a set of Proline Excavators but lately have been running Hostile MX with some screws installed.

hey newb here got a cpi but its running outa fuel kinda at WOT help whats the basic settings for this pipe i have a V-3 30 cc xt
