well, my mom needed the plug, but I couldnt find it. So I just shaved a little off of one of these:1612582578382.webp and plugged it in (no i don't know what I was thinking). I causally plugged it in and it worked for a split second and then it did what I described, if i wasnt fast to unplug it it would have caught fire. Luckily im a pro in these situations (don't ask :ROFLMAO: ) so i just casually walked upstairs with a smoking mini fridge in my hand, and just toss it out in the snow. Then I had to deal with that burnt electronic smell (as i said im a pro ?‍♂️) so I used lysol disinfection spay (it works great). So yeah, we all learned a lesson here... don't put 120v into a 12v minute fridge. My mom wasnt very suprized, im sure my dad wouldt have been if he was home (working). So yeah also we need a ?‍♂️ reaction.

Lmao I've also set many of things on fire in the basement ? mostly involving flammable liquids ? nothing electrical but I got damn close a few times.

Hell I miss the proliferation of decent message boards. This one has been a nice discovery, Facebook has turned into one giant troll!

I remember buying airplane magazines from Walmart and the bookstores and drooling, then going down to the hobby shop and getting a reality check...course that was the 75-100$ a channel days to..

Here's an example of new era days..

A local shop owner reached out to their customers to borrow rigs to test fit new parts...

Totally happened to me this morning
Doesn't help the suppliers are fiddlesticking the hobby shops over, and then wondering why they can't move product.
