The 5SC is Ian Maudsley's, he also has a 5B. The video above was shot to show how the jump is to be set up. The jump will now get a table top following the clubs first meet last Sunday. Next Sunday (17 April) should see the table top added.
The club is newly formed at this site (Broughton nr. Chester) and all Large Scale fans are welcome to come down. We are going for planning permission through the farmer and this should come through in June 2011. Once granted we can start to make real progress. The club website is under development and should be up and ready in the next few weeks, the club forum has been running since October 2010 and we have approx. 65 local guys posting on it. Remember, all this has happened in the two weeks since we were asked to leave Deeside.....Not bad in such a short time. First weekend there we had approx. 20 cars running.
Track improvements will be made following the first run and we will be adding a container for storage and race control/rostrum. We will be following BRCA guide lines.
A bash area will be added once the track has been finalised, we have plenty of parking and if you want to run it is £5 on the day, once planning is approved we will be asking £50 a year membership and £3 on the day.
BRCA membership will be required by all who join also.
