Looks like a nice radio system for a great price but I have read that there is a binding issue with these. Seems you have to bind each and every time you change from model to model, that would be a real PITA :hammer:. Anyone know if this is true or maybe just isolated instances?

I read two reviews and they both said you have to rebind every time you change models, also there seems to be a slight time delay btween the rx and transmitter when altering the steering. You can see it in the video. I would not buy this radio.

I owned this radio for about 1 week.. and its true, even if you have multiple receivers you have to rebind everytime which is a pain. I had it installed in my Redcat Rampage XT that had a super bee kill switch installed. Running with the stock sparkplug would cause a magnetic glitch that would short out my radio and kill the truck. It took me a while to figure out what it was but if the radio itself was sitting to close to the truck when i tried to pull start it, the radio would literally reset and reboot. There was a 2.4ghz chip that was built with a weak resistance to electromagnetic pulses and thats what was used in this radio and why its so cheap to purchase. In my opinion the radio felt cheap, the adjustable steering wheel kept moving in and out on its own like it was loose. For the price you are better off getting the DX3s or DX4 at this point.

Yes it was true before the software up grade now it will let you bind all 20 receivers with no problems at all. I have never had the problem of it cutting off and rebooting and I run a kill switch on all of my rides. The ones that have been sold in the states from hobby partz and nitro rcx have been up graded to the new software many of the ones being sold on ebay and international are still using the old software so be careful.

Its is the latest's radio that you buy they do not have an update that you put on the old radio
That blows.... almost a complete wast of my $140. i ordered a bunch of micro momentary push button switches to make bind "buttons". i use water proof radio boxes on most of my stuff...

I was thinking of getting this radio for my DBXL because of the price and options of the radio. What do people think Yes or No? What other radios would you guys recommend? Wanted telemetry option. Thanks.

The battery is too short lived the 3rd channel does not set right and therefor you can not get a kill switch to work and on and on.

They are shipping me the new board or w.e I need. Cant wait to use this radio to its full potential
