So glad I found this thread! Was getting ready to ask which is the best radio to go with from my stock one that came with my MT. Been looking around and saw this new FS model on HobbyPartz.com. The touch screen caught my eyes but like some of the other users here...I was thinking it probably isn't a good radio b/c of the price but apparently thats been proven to be incorrect. So....other than having to rebind to each model every time, is there anything else I should know b4 I pull the trigger? I am not a spectrum guy so I am looking at other options. I am currently using a HiTech radio for my flying toys but don't think they offer a radio for cars/trucks. Thanks

I am curious to know if everyone has the rebind issue when using it with multiple vehicles. Maybe it's just one users lemon. That would kill it for me if this is the norm.

Yes please do chame in. Like RCDAD said...it would be a deal breaker for me as well not that I have so many cars/trucks to choose from..lol but still would be a pain. Thanks guys

Yes they didn't fix the problem that was the killer for me and I stopped using it every time you want to use a different model you have to rebind to the second model then it will loose the bind on the first model. Also I could never get a kill switch to work on this radio even if you 100% the channel or toggle the channel 3 to on and off the kill switch would never work and you can not turn the radio off with the receiver on because the it gives you an error message on the radio and you have to turn the receiver off first then the radio. I have tried it on 3 different radios so I ended up sending all of the radios back.

I have noticed that If I use the receiver that comes with mine. Either the Throttle or the steering servo will be reversed and I have to go and change the servo direction but on the receiver that comes with my chimera all the servos respond accordingly to their correct positions. I wasn't sure if this if a fluke with just mine or not. The other thing is I'm not to overwhelemed on the stock batter life. I'd like for a better battery.

Different servos and receivers do come different. It is very common between different models. That is why most transmitters have the reverse setting to change the direction of travel.

Ok so looks this radio is out but what about the model or models before it from them? Are there a better one? Damn, I wish the FS-IT4 didn't have all these downsides cause I love the looks and the touch screen.

We have a GT3b and it has been great. No issues. It also will bind with the Redcat receivers.

My favorite is still the 4PKS though. ;)

The IT4 is going through a revision to fix the binding and kill switch issues. I would wait 6 months on that one.
Oh really? Thats good news! Is this news coming from Flysky? I sure hope the price don't jump when the new version comes out. Thanks for the heads up...
