I seen the brushless version. I think this is more to my liking. in the video it looks like it is nose heavy. I can adjust weight in the brushless and that is a plus I can deal with. I also like the power that brushless brings to this buggy.

Yep, a big pair of lipos slid towards the rear would help.

On the gas version, the new rear mount Jetpro would do the same. :)
 
Well I got the Chimera EP Pro in... It is the XB-E under the roll cage and body. Same motor... Same motor mount. Added a couple of new holes in the stock XB-E chassis to allow for the roll cage to be bolted to it. Changed out the rear shock tower for a new lower one. Same stiffening rails for the rear, but then it is not connected to the rear diff. The motor mount is connected to the stiffening rails via the radio tray. The side panels are screwed on to the roll cage which makes it a pain to change the batteries, and it is a pain to turn on and off the esc. It looks cool with the drivers and such, but I may need to tweek some things. I have an idea to make a rear tunnel to connect the rear diff to the motor mount to keep the crud out of the bearings.
 
I have been bashing on it.. It has the same weakness as the XB-E (front upper a-arms broke one already). Did another bad landing, and snapped the front bumper and bent the lower aluminum that holds the front lower arms in. Fortunately my local dealer (the place I purchased the Chimera from) had the parts in stock and was able to show up and change out the parts that I needed on his work bench. The Chimera is all back together again...

The access to the batteries need a better connection. I am thinking of a 1/4 turn screw type of connection or.... I am leaning toward spring loaded hatch covers as another option.

I might also come up with a way to attach the rear diff to the rear radio tray..

Hey I'm interested in the spring loaded hatch covers too. My Chimera will be here Monday and if I can make adjustments prior to running...GREAT!
