Seeing that I was stuck with a defective cylinder and a piston with an over sized wrist pin, the only options were toss them and waste the money or make them work. Im not rich so I decided to attempt to make a good motor from them.

Two small bushings machined to shrink pin holes from 9mm to 8mm.

Starting them in using pin for perfect alignment.

Bushings pressed in and polished to correct fit of pin, but not yet trimmed to length

And the piston after bushings were done and the crown and skirt machined to right size. I will be using a squish height of .5mm.
I had to take 2mm off crown and it left me with exactly the same thickness as a standard piston but a touch higher over all.

here is the prototype reed block I will be testing. I have yet to machine the windows in the piston or do any work to the cylinder.
