ok so you have now checked the carb, gaskets for air leaks, clunk and or inline fuel filter? have you tried a carb other than a 990? are you running 21:1 using highest grade pump gas?

He just put a new 668 on it and it ran fine for a couple of tanks. Wonder if he checked the fuel tank vent?

No more tryes this weekend as the gear plate melted around the bearing.
I wonder if this could have something to do with that, maybe it's looking up!

I must have fixed something putting it back together, that got unfixed after running it.
I have ordered some parts, and will try some more over the weekend

I just got to thinking, if this is a engine problem, what do I look for?
Air leaks are out, no fuel problems, not the carb, not the spark plug, no air problems.
What mechanicly could be wrong with it??

In all this trouble, I must say that Doug at ESP are a really great guy!!! He has good customer service down to his bones!!! I didn't think it was true when I read it before I bought the engine, but he does really go that extra mile to help his customers!

I have an ESP race ported GP290 cylinder kit I put on a motor I built but have not run it yet. Never talked to Doug as I have not had the need to but have talked to OBR many times and they all so have GREAT customer service. Not that I am having any problems with anything I got from OBR just want some opinions and input.

J-Revo I sure hope you get things sorted out and glade Doug is doing all he can to help.
