i have an fg stadium and i put some tread loc on my hex hubs and now since some got to the cvd it will not come off, how can i get the hex hub off? im ready to chop it off and put on some new ones.:2guns:

Get a wrench with lots of leverage. You can also heat the part as long as there is no plastic around.
Make sure you use the blue loctite as it is the temporary one. The red on will be permanent and a pain to take off.

Chris

i have blue loctite on it, do u think a heat gun will do it

yes an electric heat/paint stripper gun will do fine:boat:

:2guns:be very carefull near your plastic

when you re assemble always clean your threads of the old loc tight

and any oil/grease

loctoite decomposes between 120c and 150c depending on the variety, but getting it to about 80c will loosen it.

and if you think read is permenent, never go near the green studloc! (we use it at work to fix gears and bearings on 1000hp drivetrains)

the blue stuff should be removable without any head, use an allen get and a pair of pliers and it should snap the hold.

if not a heat gun will definelty do the trick, being the blue stuff it wont take long.
