throtle?

hey guys after driving around today my cat stoped, no response from the servos!


onpened the receiver box and the receiver was toasted!


ok replaced it for a old hpi radio/receiver i have laying around, at this point i know i need a new radio gear so just want to drive for a few minuts!


if the engine is not running everything works fine, but once the engine starts throtle servo goes crazy!


does it mean it's done?


or could it be my tx/rx?


also i have a spare hitech 645 servo, will it work fine as a throtle servo? or does it have to be a bigger servo?

It sounds like your radio and receiver I have had that happen to me as well. I went with a 2.4 radio and fixed that problem. As for the Hitec 645, I have had one for years and love it. put it in my Rampage over a year ago have had no probs at all, just wish it was a lil faster.

thanks man, i got the 2.4ghz radio/receiiver it came with the truck, but the receiver is toasted


than i installed a old hpi radio i had laying around


didn't work to well, seems like the throtle servo is done


i am going to try the 645 that i have and see what it does!
