Throttle linkage on MTXL.

What ever I do the throttle linkage on this piece of crap never works properly. I tried the stock way didn’t work. I tried reversing the servo using the TPS servo horn doesn’t work. I want my money back on this piece of junk

@21bangbang should be able to fill you in. Tbh I still use the stock set up with the tr horn and haven't had issues on the dbxl. 21bb has both. He should be able to help you out

I’ve been looking at your picture trying to make it look the same. I tried the stock rod after playing with DDM Losi 5 t throttle linkage and it seems to be working now. I burnt out the stock servo yesterday for some reason and hopefully the new one will work. Every time I get the linkage set properly and then run it the the stock servo always readjust on me.

Get the bellcrank delete from ddm. Its cheap and fixes the whole ussue.

Think he just needs a new servo tbh. It should hold his setting once the trim and EPA are set. From reading over what hes said it doesn't sound like it is.

I think I got it. Used a different linkage from carb to servo horn. What I found with my old servo it wouldn’t hold the same position turning it off and on. My new servo servo hopefully will work

i had the tps horn on my db and that worked fine after sum fine tuning?

Thanks for the video. I wish mine worked like that outta the box. First run the plastic servo horn stripped and stopped working.

Well I spoke too soon. Broke my throttle linkage rod today. That's twice now.

Got some more rod on the way. Gonna bend up my own.

That's not funny, but it is at the same time. What do you think caused it to break? The rods used are normally very stout.

No idea man. My linkage is absolutely flawless on dbxl. But something definitely gives. Theyre both in early stages of complete overhauls. Spending cash hand over fist right now. Literally trying to burn what fuel is left in tank lol

I hear that... have a few things to do to the dbxl before another run. On my last set of sway bar links. Wonder if a set off a 5ive could be converted for use ?.

3 of the 4 are broken on mine...the axle extensions make it real interesting to run. May end up fixing by spring.
