Today I turned on the tx and the receiver and the throttle and steering servos were twitching. Do I need to rebind . Also should i connect the fail safe to the throttle or brake

Don't use the inline failsafe. The receivers have a built in failsafe. Is the receiver battery fully charged? Servos tend to freak out if the battery is low. If it is, you could try a rebind and see if that helps. If it doesn't, the servos could be shot.

Some times the servo will twitch if your battery is low. nmh will go low on charge just sitting idle. So if your battery is charged and it still does it then you may have bad servos. Do you have a kill switch? A kill switch is differant than a fail safe.

I charged the stock battery overnight. I ran the truck for 2 tanks. How long should that charge last? The receivers have a built in fail safe so what is the one one that came with the kit for? I have an older duratrax charger. So what charge rate do I use for the stock battery. Thanks

The stock battery isn't going to last that long. It's only a 2000mAh battery.

Here are the specs for the stock battery.

Receiver Pack (6V 2000MAH NiMh Battery)

Cell Count: 5

Charge rate: .5-2A. Timed or peak charge

Discharge rate: 5-10A

Minimum discharge voltage: 4.8V

I have no idea why they provide an inline failsafe, when the receivers have a built in failsafe. Seems like they just toss it in there for the hell of it.
