have a link to the clamp your talking about?the 5755 will require some modding, i have one on mine, but i got the PA metal mount, and a set of servo clamps. only mod is, to drill out the mount holes in Rx box a lil bigger just nuff to fit the larger diameter bolts used to mount the PA to RX. and you may have to use a lil longer servo mount bolt if you use the clamps like i had to do. the PA mount fits the 5755 perfectly.
when positioning the new setup if you go this route, try to keep the servo output shaft as close as you can to original postion as old one was. side to side. one side of PA just like old mount is wider.
5755 is a LARGER servo will not work for throttle/brake, that why i used the 7955
PA mount is on DDM
In a standard motor like the one in the HS605 servos, there is an iron core between two permanent magnets. Around this core is the wire winding. The core generally has either 3 or 5 sections. As the core moves, these sections cause the core to hesitate slightly when it reaches a different magnetic polarity. This is called ratcheting. Because of this ratcheting, the cored servos have less start up torque and a wider dead band.ya know i never paid attention to that, i had just read it was a great servo to use for throttle/brake cuz of torque, and titanium parts inside it.
well im ordering the team chase cage from ddm..my throttle servo feels like its just not cutting it on the t1000..so im going to take your advise and get the servo...THANKS!!!!!nice. the 7955 is a great servo for T/B apps on these scale trucks/buggies tho, it wont disappoint.
