I just got done with the alloy overhaul and before I put the tires on the pavement I did a test run....not just smart but absolutely required. When I let off the throttle, there is one more short throttle burst before it goes into neutral...on pavement this could cause disaster. I've lubricated the throttle/brake linkage to no avail. What else could be causing this?

Thanks brothers.

Yep, it's a pretty common issue. There's a little piece on your linkage where the two rods come together, where the spring is at. I don't have a pic at the moment as I'm at work. But if you look, it's an oblong plastic piece that has a sort of flange all the way around the bottom. I simply used side cutters to snip off that flange, sanded it nice and smooth, and no more issues. Others like BTB have made their own linkage, or you can buy the Yamadude linkage setup.

watch the servo itself when you do that, you can tell if its the servo pulsing or bipping or the linkage.

it might be a servo issue, or some intermittant interferrance to Rx.

its worth a quick check at least.
