I don't think you can get the head of one of these engines hot enough to soften the metal. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: You would need a cutting torch .

Metal expands when it gets hot . You want to torque all the bolts to the motor while it's cold.
Exhaust side gets pretty hot. Like I said, idk to what extent and if it's significant enough to make a difference. I'd just rather do it cold.
 
Well fellas! Took the Raminator out for a bit. Huge thank you to all of you! My issues are fixed and my top end is right on point now. Just fine tuning it now...but wow what a huge difference to have the head tight. LOLOLOL! I would have never thought to check that on a brand new installed engine. Lesson learned for sure. Truck feels like it has much more torque now too!
