Does anyone use an electric cordless device such as impact drive for Tightening/losening wheel nuts . I have seen Racers use this on race tracks on You tube

Thanks

Woooo, don't use an impact driver, you'll strip the threads to bits.
No need to use one,not even on the track, thats just for show.Do them by hand and they'll be tight enough.

ive got a small snap on tools 3/8" drive impact driver at work. im always using it for speed and torquing bolts after, and generally i find it tightens bolts down to 40-60 in/lb, unless i hold the trigger for a while. thats not going to strip a wheel nut, i think it would work just fine for doing wheels up. that being said, ive never tried it.

+1 Voo...i would'nt recommend using any power tool to loosen or tighten wheel nuts your just asking for trouble....stripping threads or cross threading is easy done......Nip them up by hand is all thats required
