You can never have too much tinkering with these things, mine gets a bloody good looking at during and after every meeting and a full strip down, clean and inspect every 2 meetings ish.
For the little time it takes to pull them apart, check them over and put them back together, it's well worth it.

true mate, i'll be doin it more often from now on cause this has cost me a small fortune

i know this has been done before but..... anti roll bars yeay or neay??????

I am a convert to the front bar...My baja has stopped most of its rolling about now since fitting the front bar only...
It has made it much more pleasurable to run and a lot less is breaking on me now..

just buy one whilst you are doing the refurb...its hurting now so a bit more cant be any worse...:lol::lol::lol:

You could make your own out of 4mm rod. The plastic hangers that fix to the wishbone are only cheap or you could make them as well (if I have any spares I will post em to you). I can get you the dims this weekend if you want.

stability on an off road car is all down to set up not anti roll bars. I raced an FG Leopard for 4 years on all sorts of surfaces and never had any issues with grip rolling.

cheers for the replies guys, i already have front and rear bars but i was toyin with the idea of leavin them off???????

The anti roll bar debate will run for ever. Best way to find out is try it & see if it works for you. Its only a 2min job to fit / remove in the field so no big hassle. Personally, I find front only is the way to go and I don't give a toss what anyone else thinks cos it works better for me and my limited driving skills :p
