Time to get this engine on my new(used mt).

Just got my new OBR full mod 30.5 engine. I hope my gearing and diffs hold up. Any suggestions on gearing for this bad boy? Would this engine be able to handle the swap gear mod?

You could run taller gears with that engine. You'll have plenty of torque to pull them.

Thanx folks. I just got rid of my bajas and picked up a rampage xt and a rampage mt v3. I will be modding up the mt more than the xt. As for the mt, where is the best place to pick up taller gears or would it be better to do the swap "free" mod?

I would start by swapping your a and b gears and go from there

If its the 25 35 25 25 and you swap 25 and 35 then ya the cover won't work.if your running steel gears I would just ditch that cover and run it open. Keeps bearings cool
