My DBXL came in the mail last week. Just started digging into it and one of the first things I did was tape the tires and foams (cause they were the easiest thing to get off the buggy so far). They are REALLY off balance now. Gonna balace them either tonight or tomorrow. Just wondering how many here balance their tires?

If I were running the buggy on pavement only, I'd consider balancing tires. There are too many variables in off road that I'm not sure you'd see any benefit to a balanced tire. I'd suggest a good set of foams from either proline, if you can find them, or hpi's, if you can afford them lol

Yes I balance all of my tires it will give you a more true roll of gas on road and off road and also helps on drives cups better weare with a balance wheel tapering the inserts will make them off balance the hostile zero growth inserts are way better but they only make them for the rears.

Get a tire/wheel (or tyre as you so called it, lol), put it on a balancer, spin it and it will stop with the heaviest point at the bottom. Put a mark on the tire/rim at the very bottom or 6 o'clock point. Take it off the balancer, put an amount of modelling clay on the inside of the rim at the point that is complete opposite of your mark that you made. Jam it into the corner. When your mark is at the 3 or 9 o'clock position, your wheel is balanced. If not, add or take away clay til you're happy. Just use the one point. Don't go adding clay at different points. I see rcspeedmart is using something that isn't clay. Looks like a tape of some type. I'm gonna give to a shot if I can find a balancer. Maybe I'll just remove a dog bone, mount a wheel and give it a try.
