Tire foams

I can't think that the tire foams are that much of a piece of sh!t, are they??? I might have 10 hours on my Xt and the tire appear flat when it is sitting! Has any else had this happen? I'm now boiling my wheels to pull the foams for replacement. I'm thinking of going with the black foam pipe insulation. any suggestions? Thanks in Advance!

when I pull the foams, they disintegrate in my hands. that might explain the flat tire look on all tires when the XT is "parked' in my garage!

Unfortunately they are that big of a problem. The cheapest fix is to make your own. Pool noodles can cut to size and will last quite a while.

Yes its a well known problem they are no good at all I use these http://www.largescalerc.com/monstertyreblackdishwheelassy220mm-2.aspx did not have any more problems.
