So far I have :

Onroad tyres
One way diff at the front
Hard springs and oils
Lowered
27cc ported engine with 22/42 gearing ... that gives me enoug torque!

Now please give me advise in regards to locking the rear diff. Is it a good idea? or should I get an adjustable diff but being in 4wd, you won't have access to the diff once its installed.

Is a rear locked diff in 4wd for drifting good idea?

Cheers

tough call. a while back a lot thought you needed it. but many have just gone with an open dif,... you could even do like the electric 1/10's do and make tires out of pvc tubing. that's how they drift... when we were running the little associated 18r's we'd just wrap tuck tape around the tires and drive inside my detail shop on the polished cement

Unfortunately the PVC or ABS tyres are too slippery for our largescale .. it will just slide like on ice due to the weight momentum. They are ok for the 1/10th though.
