Too much play with clutch bell?

hi guys, ive just fit a vertigo clutch bell/pinion to my dbxl 2.0, ive had to fit 2x shims to remove excess play, i tried to insert a 3rd but then it wasnt spinning freely, so had to remove back to 2 shims, does this seem ok?

Put another thin shim.

if you have 0.5mm shims and the third wont go in then get some 0.3mm shims and fit two 0.5 mm and one 0.3mm shim, that should give you a very small amount of play and spin freely
