What 10 things in RC do you really not like?

Mine:

1. having an idea for creating something but not the means to make it

2. breaking/wearing things out

3. The exspense

4. WAITING for new stuff to come out

5. Not having enough RC friends

6. Saving up for what I want

7. Selling RC

8. weather: rain, heat, cold

9. malfunction

10. Not enough really fun places to drive

Runners up:

11. Not enough time to RC as much as Id like

12. the bad looks (even from my wife)

13. dud products

14. getting a new car and not liking it

15. Painting bodies

16. mounting tires

17. soldering

1. RTR's taking over the market.

2. Buying an RTR and having to tear it down and realizing in the process that the person who assembled it has no business building R/C's.

3. The cheap allen wrenches included with the RTR's and kits.

4. The fact that they still include AM radios in some kits.

5. Cogging in brushless systems.

6. R/C's built with cheap materials.

7. The fact that building a decent, reliable R/C costs as much as a 350 rebuild.

8. The resale value on R/C's is complete garbage.

9. Getting tips from people who have no-****ing-idea what they're talking about.

10. poop-quality rubber sealed bearings.

11. Overpriced R/C's.

1: Saving up for something but then i goes out of stock (happened like 10 times to me)

2: ideas about doing something but lack of ability to actually make it

3: expenses

4: shipping time and overnight delivery cost

5: not many places to drive nor people to drive with

6: cheap tools and parts in some cases

7: cat plugging charger out and realizing that battery didn't change when you need it

8: 8 AA batteries in transmitters

9: awesome looking transmitters that just suck

10: "here it comes, here it comes, move! move! i said move! *crash*" few seconds later: "Jeez I told you to move! How many times I have to say that?!"

Number one will always be gluing tires. I just did a set of F1 tires last weekend. started mounting the tires on the rim saturday night. took most of sunday to get the gluing done and my hands were sore from fighting them on. I'll order pre mounts from now on even if I have to order from germany
