Top Speed on my MT...

I strapped my iPhone 3GS to my MT and recorded the GPS top speed.
I reached a max speed of 40mph with 27/33 gears and gutted stock
exhaust can plus a 28.5cc headkit. I ordered a new set of gears to give
me a better combination of torque and speed instead of just torque.

Don't know if that is a good speed or not?

Could you imagine loosing control at a higher speed? I guess speed is good for wide open long drives but hills terrain and such is what I look forward too.:devil:

40 mph is plenty fast enough but a little more doesn't hurt.

put a jetpro or cpi pipe on it and it will be faster it will have a better top end that way if you go wth more gearing you will burn up the clutch

clocked a near stock fgbaja at the weekend with an htc phone, 28.5 built from bits out the drawer and dom pipe with stock gearing...48mph... and gets there quick too. gonna try my nutech and hurrax next just to see. when our buddy pipes his XT we'll see what that can do...it's a bit of a slug right now with the stock can
