Are you talking about the Head gasket?...It's a .02" (.5mm) gasket on the stock motor.

That's what I'm talking about. If I change to copper is it the same thickness?

You can do a .020 gasket. They do not compress as much as a paper gasket. You could also drop it to a .012 gasket for a bit more low end. Only do this if your cylinder is fairly new. If there is a ridge on the top of the cylinder from where the ring rides and you lower the cylinder it could damage your ring. Best to save the thinner gaskets for fresh builds.

I'm going to use gasket maker with my rebuild using copper gasket (as mentioned by racetruck in post #12)...
