I have 2 questions I guess -
First, while doing some wrenching, I boogered up the multi tool that comes with truck, specifically the torx end, trying to remove the clutch bolts. I was able to find a T27 torx bit in my toolbox, but it seems to be a super loose fit with the bolts. Are these bolts actually a T27 torx? Is my bit (of unknown origins) just crappy, and I should go buy a new one?
When I eventually reassemble this thing, I just want to make sure I'm getting a good bite on them so as to not strip them, and to make sure the torque specs are accurate.
Second, I think all of the torque specs I'll be needing are in the Zenoah manual, but one side note/question I've been curious about on the specs - I noticed in an OBR video about a long block upgrade, he says the torque specs on the carburetor bolts is 65 inch lbs. (7.34 N·m). The Zenoah manual is 3.4 N·m standard - 3.9 N·m limit for the carb, and 4.4 N·m standard - 4.9 N·m limit for the insulator. I'm pretty sure he knows what he's talking about..... Not to make a mountain out of a mole hill, or beat a dead horse, but am I just over thinking this?
Thanks

Ok. Not sure if I'm more or less confused now than before. The T27 bit in the set I already had is what fit in my clutch bolts, but it's very loose.
I went & bought a new bit set tonight, and went straight for the T27 to see if it fit any tighter in the bolts. It was way too big. I tried the T25 and it is a nice fit, better than the 1st T27.

The multi tool that comes with the truck is a phillips but if it's what I'm thinking it is. Is it the multi tool that has the spark plug wrench as one tool?

The stock clutch bolts should be a hex bolt. I believe a 5mm hex bit should fit. Go by the zenoah manual for torque specs. OBR is using a billet case and their specs may be different.

Thank you for the reply!
I bought the truck used, I'm thinking its fair to say that the engine is not stock. All the bolts on this one, on the fan cover, clutch housing, clutch plate, clutch shoes, etc. are all Torx. The wrench I was given looks like the one in this picture. At this point, it's just more of a curiosity with the Torx bits, and how different they are from one kit to another. One of the sets must be marked wrong or something. Either way, I have a bit now that fits good, so it doesn't really matter what is stamped on it.
My new clutch has bolts that require a socket anyways lol.

The combo tool in the picture is at best, a stop gap tool and “not” a quality tool to use as your primary.

Enjoy

Honestly, torque specs for the areas you're talking about, are not that important. Hand tighten it down sufficiently and you're done. Don't worry so much. I've been wrenching on these engines for 20 years. Never torqued a single bolt/nut. Don't worry.
