TR Transmission Slug or cap a bit losse and rattley

Is it normal for the TR Transmission Slug or cap to be a bit losse and rattley , I do have it installed in the TR QD case .
I did put small amount of RTV to hold in place but it has me wondering if Im missing a O-ring
